Umm.. i think young children also can diet. Because, fat body is more not good at health. in this article, when that person was young, than, his or hers body was not full with vitamin. But, i think, that was not true. we can provide nutrition from foods, vitamin,,, like these,, many way,,

I think students who are fat must diet.
The first reason is that when they continue eating foods in high calorie, they could become more fat in the future. Second, I learned that being overweight at childhood could cause many diseases when you become older.
Therefore, I think students who are overweight must diet.

Good Article!
I can know that diet in young age is stunt our growth since reading this article. So, better than diet, I have to get all of nutrition, exercise regulary, do not eat many junk foods to not being fat.
Then, I don't have to diet.

Some would say going low carb is not "dieting", it is eating what our body is actually designed to eat. Your article states:
"Low-carb diets discourage foods like potatoes, which provide iron, potassium, B vitamins, and vitamin C—all essential for the body to work at its maximum ability. And some studies suggest that low-carb diets may affect learning, concentration, and school performance, since carbs provide energy and help people think clearly."
There are plenty of other foods that provide the necessary nutrients without sugar and insulin spiking potatoes:
1)Iron: spinach, meat, peppers, broccoli
2)Potassium: avacado, clementine, cantalope
3)Vitamins B/C: Any vast number of foods
Don't scare people by telling falsehoods. Eating via low carb lifestyle, which I do, including eliminating all refined sugar, wheat and soy not only drops you down to your 'designed' weight but also boosts energy, gets rid of many digestive issues and much more. I'll take a Cholesterol test any day of the week and put it up against any "low-fat" government guideline drone.
Eating wholesome foods that you know where they originated from is important too. However, as shown in the movie Fat Head, you can still eat at a fast food place for an extended period of time (every meal) and still lose weight and increase most of your blood profile tests.
