I've been wanting to try greek yogurt for some time now and finally did ~ I loved it and being a vegetarian, the amount of protein greek yogurt contains is very appealing! Very thick and creamy and great tasting.

I've been loving Stoneyfield's whole milk yogurt.

I'm new at Greek. I started getting Fage's full-fat Greek yogurt, but when it wasn't on the shelf, I switched to The Greek Gods full-fat.

Whichever brand is available next time, I guess I'll try to wean myself down to 2% Greek.

Greek yogurt is definitely much more tasty than regular yogurt, in fact after trying Greek yogurt at my sister's recommendation I have to force myself to eat the regular kind as it taste really bland to me.

Sir: I purchased Greek yogurt and it was excellent.

However, keeping it in the refrig. for 10 days it developed a red film on top of the remaining amount.

What is the red impurity ?

I'm definitely sticking with regular yogurt, the fat grams really have me thinking I'm not going Greek. Plus the taste is a little tart for me. Great article, just what I was looking for to see how these two products measured up!

I just had my first Greek yogurt and am amazed at how tasty and satisfyingly filling it is as a snack. I am a flexitarian and 54 years old and exercise regularly all year running always towards a half or full marathon target; which means that I am always concerned that I am getting enough protein into my diet. I also have a treat strategy for those who might want something a little sweet. You add a little packet of a sweetner and some cinnamon and you have a fabulous sweet treat full of nutrients. With the Greek - its like eating ice cream - yum yum yum!
