I just finished reading an eye opening weight loss report by Dr Simpson. She personally tested two of the best selling weight loss products in America and wrote an honest review. I was so shocked by the result of test after I finished reading the report because she revealed some of the hidden secrets in weight loss industry that the pubic will never know.

I strongly recommend you read the report because it will tell you how to really lose weight instead of losing your money on those products that won't work! You can read the report here: http://bit.ly/DrSimpson-weight-loss-tips

Go on a junk food diet to prove that you should be eating smaller portions if you want to lose weight.

Even with the good advice tagged on to the end of this article, it's being highly misconstrued. I heard about it on the radio and they made absolutely no mention of any vegetables, fruits, or grains that were consumed. Just that the prof was eating only junk and lost 15 lbs.

Gee.... Thanks for promoting eating disorders!

Eat a healthy *BALANCED* diet, excercise regularly, live a healthy lifestyle. Problem solved.

Professor Haub's BMI started out at 28.8. What do you think the BMI would be for an NFL defensive back who is 5'10" 201 lbs WITH 7% BODYFAT? If you guessed 28.8, you're right. That's one problem with BMI. It doesn't take into account bodyfat percentage. How stupid is that? Even Dr. Oz talks about preserving muscle mass as the number one anti-aging strategy. To support his study, Professor Haub should have done a body composition before and after. Did he hit the weights? If walking was the way to go exercise-wise, all of our postal delivery people would be thin.

If it is simply a matter of calories in, calories out then why do we even bother with glycemic index or glycemic load? Furthermore, don't diabetes and obesity have a nice little relationship with each other? I'll often tell people if you're going to eat junk food then counting calories matters because the less nutritionally-void, mineral uptake inhibitor, chemically-laden junk you put in your body the better. If one wants to eat junk, bake it yourself so your list of ingredients is comprised of things that our great-grandparents would recognize.

The calories in, calories out model is a dinosaur. It's all about making better choices. Make better choices and the calories take care of themselves. Or as my mom would say "Watch your pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves."

to every fast food order which exceeds 500 total calories. With the millions of those sold every day in North America, that would help illuminate the issue, discourage the consumption a little, and toss billions of dollars into the kitty to finance health reform.

Diabetes is a direct cause of food chemicals that make BILLIONS$$$$. This has been proven !

The diabetes Drug makers like GLAXO combined to make 50 BILLIONS$$$ in one year without cure!

The FDA knows about the food chemicals. A senate investigator just testified that the FDA knew diabetes drugs would harm!!

A filmmaker has been reversing diabetes in now 10 countries WITHOUT MEDICATIONS but the drug companies do not promote this just google SPIRIT HAPPY DIET

He is not advocating this diet, merely pointing out that what leads to weight loss is not WHAT you eat so much as HOW MUCH of it you eat. Calories in < Calories out! And I love his message of not denying yourself the enjoyment of good food, just learning to limit it for your own health.

What people should focus on is the fact that he shifted his priorities and stuck with it. He concentrated on his well being and developed a lifestyle modification plan. He monitored his calorie intake and increased his physical activities. He could have done the same thing with steak and potatoes instead of junk food and got the same results. The problem now a days is everyone is married to their job. No one enjoys life anymore. Our culture demands everything to be done quickly and work, work, work. It's too easy to sit in front of the tv and eat packaged meals.

What he also needs to be concerned about is whether or not his body has any cell damage (cancer causing) from all the preservatives and artificial flavorings (man made chemicals!) that he's consumed.
