I am giving this articule to my GP...as they continue to make my control of my diabetes miserable and continue to take away even my driver's license from me...when they ALL know that I am extremely insulin resistant. I have made all the necessary lifestyle changes, including a job change that is more physical in nature and still the improvement is only minor!! I get sick of being a guinea pig and having adverse reactions to the many expensive insulin therapies that actually give me more adverse side affects then benefits to controlling my bG levels. I am at the point where I know what works for me and to hell with what a GP says!! My endocronologist agrees too, as he had nothing new to add to my therapy...so why can't i get back my driver's license? When I have had the same problems for the last 10 years and this year 2 GP's decide that I can't have it? ...WTF?
