FDA Issues Warning for Diabetes Drug

After having been on Byetta for a year, and having a bad kidney stone, I developed renal failure. I was in hospital in March, April, May, and June with the original kidney stone problem then a domino effect health decline including enterococcus - a party favor from the first hospital. I have stopped the Byetta on my own and my blood sugar numbers are the same as when I was injecting Byetta twice a day. At some point I am going to mistrust ALL doctors and ALL pharmaceutical companies and ALL insurance companies and just give up. To have survived so much in my life (cancer twice - years ago) and then be brought down by a 'miracle drug' is unutterably devastating. Guess it's back to aspirin for fevers for me and good luck for the rest of the medical problems.
