I have a 9yr old son with aspergers, being the youngest of 5. i also have an autoimmune problen, by havin no spleen. amnio at 2Owks showd up he may have edwards syndrome, which thankfully he didnt have.
there is a few kids his age group in our area either has autirm of some respect or a.d.h.d. makes me think it. was to do with their jags. mmr especially. however else is there as many in one area, all with these conditions??makes u wonder

I have always suspected that there was a link between the fact that I have endometriosis, my son has autism and my daughter has Type 1 diabetes (since age 1). I asked my daughters endocrinologist about the possible link between my daughter's diabetes and my son's autism years ago and he kind of avoided my question. My children are now both in their 20's. So much more is known about autism then when my son was diagnosed back in the early 90's. Early intervention is the key.

--What?? So is he saying that they are not going to inform parents with autoimmune conditions to watch a little closer the development of their infants. What?? So much for early intervention being the key! I have an autoimmune condition and an autistic child. Had I known these things he could have begun treatment a heck of a lot earlier than three years old!
