I suffer from migraines, and know a number of people who do. The serious, light-in-the-eyes kind that drops you to the floor in seconds. I think the answer is trickier than it seems. I find that the more caffeine I take in, the worse a migraine becomes. My best "cure" is a few advil and about 2 HUGE glasses of water, gulped down asap. For a close friend who has such bad migraines that she's suffered temporary blindness from it before, the only solution is Cola Syrup - loaded with caffeine. I dunno.
And as for headaches if you don't get your daily cup of coffee........ that's just called a withdrawal symptom, lol. All of us serious caffeine addicts get it. I'm trying to wean myself off of coffee now, and have tried many times in the past without success. But now I am trying a new tactic.... green smoothies. Lots of 'em. And you know what..? For the first time in my life, my withdrawal headaches were minimal and have disappeared, and I no longer crave coffee. It's like a green miracle..! :)

I use to drink roughly 4-6 cups of coffee per day. I'm on my 6th day of being caffeine free. The past few days have been rough; especially since I quite cold turkey. But the rewards after getting over those first couple of days are worth it. Here is my experience:

I have a cousin who suffers with migraines and she had a doctor once who told her to drink caffeine in order to help with the headaches. so instead of drinking milk at school, she got a soda.

If I don't have a Coca Cola everyday, I I have a serious Headache. Since I already suffer from Migraines, I think this is related, but when I take my meds for the Migraine, the headache is still there...but oohwee, once I get a Coke, I'm great! The headache goes away after about an hour. I am trying to ween myself off of them, but it's so hard when that is my Drink of choice... Decisions, Decisions smh *shaking my head*

You guys should quit playin this is a REAL addiction. oh man, i drink at least 6 gallons of black gold on the daily regs, knaw mean. plus i get them ginseng shitz from Plad Pantry, do they got cafeine?

i consume at least 6 pots of coffee a day, also at least 2 5hr energies. if i dont get enough, i crash big time.
