As a person with Parkinson's, I am grateful for the existence of dopamine replacement therapy, but also very much aware of its limitations and down sides. For decades, the PD community has been waiting and hoping for a truly new, dopamine-independent treatment. This sounds like a promising development, and I fervently hope it will prove fruitful for humans.

hmm, interesting. i find it rather intriguing that this protein, rgs4 hinders the attempt to control, no, rather eliminate parkinsons. earlier i found through my own studies and trials conducted in my basement on small domesticated animals. i am sorry Mrs. Johnson, but your cat is dead. however i found rgs5 protein wipes out parkinsons completely. like that of an atomic bomb. i am not conducting trials on humans yet.. more research to follow
