Need To Lose Weight? 10 Ways to Conquer Emotional Eating

These are all good tips because they serve as distractions to take your mind off food. For some people, this can be very beneficial. If someone eats because they are bored or because they feel something is missing from their life, this may work well.

If the person is eating to fill an emotional need, it may only serve as a temporary distraction because it does not resolve the emotional need that they are using food to fill. For those people, it may be more useful to write down what feeling they are really using food to tranquilize and where that feeling came from. There are many good techniques such as Emotional Freedom Techniques or the Sedona Method that they can then use to neutralize that feeling.

I have a new diet system and have a patent pending on the process. It is essentially the opposite of every diet that claims to make losing weight easy. We have a team of live coaches whom you are in close phone contact with throughout the day, 24/7. Our coaches motivate you and literally talk you into the right actions until you form the habits to make the right decisions on your own. You can get more information at http://www.coaches247.com/weight-loss-coaching-phone

I use to be a emotional eater and then had to find some help with the online course of www.totellwellness.com. They gave me the tools to help me stop emotional eating and binging some. I had to retrain myself in my eating habits and find out or rediscover what hunger feels like for my body, i learned to listen to my bodies cues and when I am feeling an emotional trigger, I have to STOP and ask myself am I physically hungry or is this just emotional. If it's just emotional then I try to distract it with some other activity, take a walk, start a hobby. Drinking water also helps keep those cravings in check. I learned to find other ways to satisfy those emotional rollercoasters.

I am currently using www.TotellWellness.com as a convenient emotional eating coaching program. It's all online and on video, I love it because I get to do it on my own time. Is anyone else using this program? If mot i highly recommend visiting their site for the free demo and you can see how the program works.

Pretty excited about it ** just wanted to share that with you.

Thanks!

Well, it's certainly the first time I've seen squeezing bubble wrap in a diet article. There are some interesting and good tips here. Having said that, there isn't much said in that which would make for over half of the solution- some regular kind of activity. Notice I didn't say exercise. Find something you can do and start small if you need to. Better yet, find activity you like and be intentional about doing more of it.

Staying off the sugar drinks isn't easy and the artificially sweetened ones are worse. If you find an alternative like http://focusuponline.com - well, it can make a huge difference- pardon the pun.

Also- and this is important, start SEEING yourself as the size you want to be. Make a daily practice of that and you'd be surprised how much effect it will have over some weeks.

I believe By not having large parks within a mile of A residence and other forms of exercise. Especially in a big city we are hampering the ability for Americans to stay healthy.

I believe a lot of people are obese because of the lack of exercise not what they eat.

our bodies are like a fuel tank except it can adapt to the volume of fuel you put in it.

We all have seen heavy set people who are healthier than we seem to be so wight it seems is not as important as activity level. Parks do more than just give you exercise they also get you back to nature and gives you fresh air. Physical and mental health are tied together and therefore cannot be separated.

Emotional eating is really bad, right? I heard that there is more chance to gain weight while we are eating when we get upset and angry. Especially, people eat something sweet or junky when they are upsey, such as potato chips and sugary chocolalte, right? I learned that having meal plan is really important, it prevents overeating and emotional eating. My skinnycoach taught me that, and I simply followed her tips and advice. (www.skinnycoach.com) I realized that being fat is not our fault! It was food we take, espcially sugar and refined carbs! I feel so light and learn to love myself, especially my body :) If you are intersted in, check out www.elementalyou.com
