Is Sugar the real problem?

I love automation although it is wasted on our society because if we make to much and the price lowers we put it in our land fills and start over that way we keep people working and prices up but we fill up our land fills with good items or food that could have at the least been composted or given to the poor.

Another thing automation does is make it so we do not work as hard which does many adverse things to the body and mental health.

A lot of people do not exercise and watch TV and nowadays we also have the computer, cellphones, blackberries and so on, That does not require much exercise.

We do not go to as many parties barn dances or block parties. A lot of us do not even know our neighbors but we know people across town or the world. Many of us know more about some town in Germany or some other than our own town or state.

It's is time to get interested in the town or city and state we live in and get to know our neighbors, it is time to get involved with city counsel meetings again I know they can be boring but their may be time for a drink A cup of coffee or dinner with friends after the meeting, maybe you can prepare for the next meeting and prepare a educated statement during the next new business.

Its time to wake up and challenge our bodies, our mines and our government of which we are supposed to be a part of.

The next time I get the urge to drown my food in a cup of ketchup or salad dressing or to make a paste out of my coffee by putting a cup of artificial creamer into it, maybe I'll worry. To quote the author, "With math like that, it's not surprising that the average American" doesn't listen to doomsday articles like these.

who eats a one cup serving of any dressing? we may be overdoing it, but most restaurants serve about 2 tablespoons worth (if that). if a person over-indulges at home, I'd still suggest they'd have to be eating a lot of salad( or veggies w/dressing as a dip) to eat that much. at a serving of 2 tablespoons(16 Tbs to a cup) that works out to little over 3grams per serving for the average person. I'm assuming you're giving examples of hidden sugars in an average diet so it would better serve your purpose if you used accurate(though not quite so sensational) serving sizes in your quotes. some people find one thing wrong with an overall well documented article and blow off the whole thing as untrue.

Do how about a few recipes?

In many cases losing a 1/3 of the sugar in recipes is not the end of the world.

Who eats a cup of ketchup in a sitting? "Not me," said the Little Red Hen, "not me."

each of these items mentioned is actually loaded, not with sugar, with high fructose corn syrup. Sugar's cheaper dumb cousin.

It is hard to watch the sugars in your diet. I have been actively reading labels and have been appalled that there is high fructose corn syrup in ketchup. Why on earth would it need to be so sweet? My solution is to try and eat as little processed foods as possible. Breakfast is natural organic oatmeal with 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries. Better than any boxed cereal on the market.

"Ketchup. A favorite condiment, a single one-cup serving of regular—or low sodium—ketchup racks up nearly 40 grams of added sugar."

almost 40 grams of sugar in one cup? who the hell has one cup of ketchup? come on
