Some food for thought, but it contains one of my pet peeves. "...those annoying offenses attributed to the fraternity of men: leaving the toilet seat up..." Someone explain to me exactly what is so hard about putting down the seat that a woman can't figure out how to do it. It's as if only men can manage it. And really, in a home like mine where we have small children that could be seriously injured or even drown trying to play in the toilet, you should put down not just the seat, but also the lid.
