Ruth Ryan; You can figure this out for yourself. Starting at 13 and having 2 abortions per year she would be 18, going on 19, by the end of the 10th abortion. If "many" teenage girls are having 10 abortions in their teen years the medical community would have definitely noticed this alarming behavior and raised all sorts of alarms. This has not occured. Your source could use an imaginary conspiracy theory (involving the Muslim, Communist, Jewish Obama)to 'explain' any and everything away. However, we're staying in reality. A simple "sanity check" tells you the source of this claim is lieing to you.

I was recently told that many teenagers have up to 10 abortions. I can't believe that this is true. Can you provide me with the facts regarding this?

Thanks

Whites may be the largest recipients of welfare. But Hispanics are the greatest when it comes to percentage of the whole population. Out of the enitre "white" population, 17.63% are recipients of welfare, compared to 21.38% of blacks, and a whopping 38.95% of Hispanics. So get ur facts right Iris.

Could it be that the absence of parents who are working multiple jobs, the absence of jobs suitable for teens, and the absence of social stability in general are pushing young people to seek out their own safety and comfort? What a shock that they're finding that elusive safe haven in bed with each other!!! Go ahead, continue to blame faith-based programs into eternity, but that's how long they will be effective.

Asking for statistics for further analysis is smart, but jumping to conclusions before you have the information is not. I live in California, a state with many Hispanics. I know very few second and third generation Hispanics who haven’t graduated from college. Many of them graduated from great colleges like Berkeley, Harvard, MIT, Stanford, UCLA, and this list goes on. Stop blaming all of our country’s perils on immigrants who don’t have a voice in our system.

By the way, whites are the largest recipients of welfare, not Hispanics nor immigrants.

Hispanics and other ethnic minorities have plenty of things to feel good about.

The rise in illegal entry into the US. The problem with the removal from family structures and the hardship placed on the females has caused rise in dangerous activities which has caused a high single female pregency rate for that group.

I hope I'm not the only one who noted that the states with persistently high teen pregnancy rates, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, are also ones with large populations of Hispanics. It's, of course, not politically correct to point that out, but it has to be a factor. The birth rate for Hispanics in this country is now higher than it is in Mexico and remains the highest for any ethnic group in this country. Unfortunately, this is not the most education-motivated group and is also the ethnic group with the highest high school drop out rate. When you start school with no English language skills (which most recent immigrants, and frequently second and third generation Hispanic immigrants do) by the time your language skills become even marginally useful - it's too late. Let's see, minimal education, no job prospects . . . what's left to make you feel good about yourself?
