Advice for Parents on Gardasil Vaccine for HPV

I would really like to know why are all these vaccines are aimed at females? Why not have the boys vaccinated also? And this time it's female researchers who developed the vaccine and it's still for the girls.

Read the book “The HPV Vaccine Controversy: Sex, Cancer, God and Politics” authored by Shobha S. Krishnan, M.D, Barnard college, Columbia University. The book educates both professionals and the public about HPV infections, the diseases they cause and the role/ controversies surrounding the new vaccines. It is written without the influence of any pharmaceutical companies or special interest groups. The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA, June 17th 2009) calls the book superb and a terrific contribution to the field. There are so many ties between the government regulatory agencies meant to protect us, professional medical organizations and the drug industry, we cannot possibly trust the CDC, FDA, AMA, AAP to give us the truth about Gardasil. It's killed dozens of young women, and has caused life-threatening side effects in many more.
Our children's health is secondary to drug company profits.

I did not like the AAP President's comments that "if you get this young lady who looks like she's ready to go on Playboy or something you know that chances are you're going to have to move a little faster". Is he saying that as a pediatrician, when he sees physically mature teenage girls, it makes him think of Playboy? Is he saying that physical appearance determines when a person becomes sexually active? These comments make it seem like he sees teen girls as sex objects rather than the children that they are. On the subject of Gardasil, I think drug companies are all too happy to reap huge profits now, and pay small punitive settlements later, knowing that their money is in the bank already, and that cause/effect is difficult to prove in courts beyond any doubt. I never allow my kids to take prescriptions that have been on the market less than ten years, and that is one reason my daughter has not had Gardasil, and probably won't have it unless she decides to take it as an adult. I think the aggressive and shady marketing strategy for Gardasil is very suspicious, especially the way they pay people in positions of power to promote it, without disclosing their conflict of interest. I am not against vaccinations, but to risk a teenager with a new, potentially fatal vaccine to prevent a virus that might cause problems later seems ridiculous, especially when Pap tests are readily available.

I testified against mandating the Gardsil for nine year olds in the State Of Maryland several years back.Thank goodness it was reported in the Washington Post that the two Maryland State Senators who were promoting this vaccine were in an organization called "Women in Government". This group is totally sponsored by "Big Pharma". After the report the senators dropped their interest. The three shots have a total of 675mg. of alluminum in them. Alluminum makes mercury 10X more toxic. Don't think the pediatricians wouldn't be taking the opportunity to give them an additional vaccine, such as Flu or others at the same time. Most booster and flu vaccines contain 25mg. of mercury! The AAP needs to do some of their work in observing children in the school system. All the kids are sick now, chronic illness, asthma, ADD/HD, autism, food allergies. The AAP has been injecting them with neurotoxins, that are contained in their vaccines that have never been proven safe! Pleases, AAP take a toxicolgy class! No Gardasil recommended in our house. I wouldn't trust the AAP with my dog. Many others in this country feel the same way. If vaccines are so safe, why did we need to create a "vaccine court"? There are serious consequences for all drugs, including OTC cold remedies, yet all you here from the likes of Offit, Snyderman and their ilk are that vaccines are a modern medical miracle and perfectly safe. The AAP, CDC, and FDA has lost all credibility with a large segment of the American population and continuing to keep their heads in the sand regarding the safety of vaccines will not help their case. They are criminals as far as I am concerned and I hope someday their crimes will be evident to all Americans.

I would like to let you know that my daughter after recieving two Gardasil shots is having fianting spells that they have diagnosed as neurocardogenic syncpoe. She was a healthy 21yr. old until this happened. The doctors are suggesting a pace maker. Now you tell me why I have been on the web searching and came across similiar cases of young women with same problems. They all have had the shot that is suppose to help them instead it has made them ill. I am sorry I just don't buy that it is unexplainable that a healthy girl just gets this. Maybe they should have to tried it on themselves before giving it to our girls. My daughters life is on hold she is a walking time bomb, just waiting for the next time she passes out, and hoping it doesn't kill her from the fall. I suggest to everyone out ther to get on every roof top and shout your story about your daughter who has suffered and has had side effects from this drug. It breakes my heart to know that girls have died because of this and also have side effects that cause them to stop living there young lives normally.Please contact your State Officials to try to get this drug off the market. I would suggest to fing out about detoxing your daughters, because from what I understand there is aluminum in these shots and other toxic things we should know about giving to our daughters. The pedritations that we trust should not shove them down our throatswithout knowing all of the risks!
I suggset that you get on the web and find Side Effects Of Gardasil, Medications.com. Get the lot numbers from your doctor and let them know you are filling a VAERS REPORT,so they can track all of adverse events that are happening to our girls.

My 13 year old has had 2 of the 3 series, with the last 10/24/08. In May of 2009 she began to experience dizzy spells 1 - 2 times per day with the feeling of fainting, pain under her ribs and feels like she has trouble breathing. All other labs are normal. Is this a Gardasil problem, and if so, WHAT to we do to treat these side effects???
