Gardasil Side Effects Tough to Monitor

I am a 26 year old woman, and also a year 4 nursing student.

I got the first shot (Gardasil) in November 2012. I had an appointment for the second shot a few days ago, but something stopped me.

I remembered how about a week after the first shot, I had a few nights where I woke up from sharp pain in my knee. I don't have any problems with my knees, and it was a strange and shooting pain I had not experienced before.

I thought back to what the recent changes in my life were, couldn't think of anything except Gardasil. I won't be getting the 2nd and 3rd booster.

Of course I can't prove causation, but the fact that I had strange pains in my legs, and several stories here indicate a similar reaction, I think it's not worth the risk.

My 16 yr old has had 6 siezures since November 2010. Every test negative. Someone asked recently if she had the series of Gardasil shots. She did with her last being September 2010. Could these seizures be linked to Gardasil. There is no history of seizures in family. Is there any help on reversing her side effects.

I pushed for my daughter to get the vaccine...to be one less! Shortly after her second dose she began with joint swelling, pain, low grade temp and at one point her feet were so painful and swollen she could barely walk. She was seen by a Rheumatologist who diagnosed her with RND- fibromyalgia basically. Also she had some depression. She works through the pain but still swells and has pain like arthritis patients do. Now my niece age 13 was diagnosed with non-hodgkin's lymphoma 3 weeks after her 3rd shot. Another close friends niece diagnosed with hodgkin's lymphoma 2 months after 3rd shot. This seems to be connected some how.....perhaps the FDA should ban gardasil until some further testing on its safety can be completed.

for myself a mom with a 12 year old daughter i am afraid to give he guardasil. if just one child has become ill then why are the doctors pushing it? the idea of the vaccine makes sense but tell that to the parents who buried their kids or have to give them injections for diabestes for the rest of their lives. it is too soon to see what the long term damage is going to be on these "test kids"

Has anyone out there heard or experienced someone who has received the shots, then contracted type 1 diabetes? My 14 year old daughter had two of the shots done, then two months later, she was diagnosed with diabetes. She was healthy, active through her school with sports. She had reported to me that another girl, healthy, active, in her school had just came down with diabetes as well, after receiving all three shots.

It is not a coincidence that thousands of girls are getting sick with similiar symptoms after they received the Gardasil shot. There have been 49 deaths in US believed to be linked to Gardasil. These girls are suffering dibilatating side effects, that have changed theire lives. As parents we cannot rely on the doctors, we must research and educate ourselves before we make the decision to vaccinate. If you or your loved one is suffering from these side effects PLEASE go to the VAERS website and report them. There is strength in numbers, it is how we can make get the government to take this poison off the market. To date there has been over 15,800 complaints of adverse side affects, not ot mention the thousands of girls that are sick and are unaware that it was a reaction to the shot. For more info you can go to truthaboutgardasil.org.

As sad as individual cases may sound- public health decisions can not be made on individual cases but must be made based on research and the prevailing evidence does not point to Gardasil as a lethal injection, but an effective immunization.

My daughter is tired, armpit lump, feverish, losing hair, has all the symptoms of cancer including rapid weight loss, our kids are sick from this vaccine, we have to continue to get the word out....the kids need to be put in the hospital on antiobiotic IVs, mega vitamins, holocustic/toxogolist type doctor to DETOX them to try to reverse the aluminum/mercury/rat posion ingredient in this shot get it out of their body, SEND THE BILLS FOR ALL TO MERCK OR THE STUPID MEDICAL PERSON WHO GAVE YOUR CHILD THE SHOT, IT SOUNDS like everyone is having adverse reactions, IT IS NOT SAFE TO TAKE, any medical person who tells you to take it, tell them to take it first and be the guinea pig test, NOT OUR CHILDREN!!!
