Abortion Doctor Murder: A Threat to Access?

Nevermind that Tiller murdered babies, as they were about to be born in the full term. And nevermind that he would thrust a needle in their heads and suck the brains out, followed by a memorial ceremony and even baptisms for the murdered child! No, all you are worried about, Deborah, is the poor old murderer who finally got what was coming to him. I do not condone murder of any kind, but this man got what he deserved. He was a sick, demented man who not only mocked God by continuing to attend "church", but performed heinous operations that are condemned by even the most rabid abortion proponents. Sickening...

A Dr takes an oath to "do no harm". Why anyone would think the killing of an infant would not stir emotions in normal people is simply byond my ken.

People stand by while others beat an animal to death and are called "callous".

New Yorkers walked around a man hit by a car and ignored him untill he died on a street corner. They were called "unfeeling".

Now, someone has acted against the killing of children and he is compared to the one who killed the children. Where is the logic?

I happen to think abortion should be rare but legal. I also happen to think guns should be rare but legal.

What an irony that a pro-lifer (presumably) should take a life. And what a shame we continue, in an "enlightened" time, to be unable to solve the problems around abortion, gun ownership, drugs, poverty, and others.

Shame on us.

Killing a human being inside or outside of the womb is murder no matter how you slice it. Planned parenthood now admits abortion is killing a baby. Shooting abortion doctor George Tiller was murder just as he also did with so many late term fetuses. May God have mercy on his soul.

It is interesting how the mainstream media portray abortion, the killing of the unborn, as a sanitized nothing and portray all pro-lifers as reactionary crazies! This insanity is what happens when we leave God out of the equation and presume to set up our own amoral standards as being the most moral of all!

Or lack of Morals. Women's right my eye. Use better judgement when in intimate times.

Abortion will never be completely stopped! No matter the risk, women have always sought ways to terminate an unwanted pregnancy. This is why the pro-life movement will ultimately fail. The movement gains nothing by promoting false information and hatred. Their energies would be better spent by putting all of their resources into assisting women in finding alternatives to abortion. Money is needed to help pay for prenatal care for poor women, or setting up programs to promote and facilitate adoptions. A campaign that helps pay for and encourage birth control would also significantly reduce abortions. This may not fit with the core beliefs of the pro-life movement, but neither does murder.

To the gentleman above, yes this murder was wrong and evil. Now please tell me if the unborn are not babies and not alive what are they? I am a woman who has carried 7 children and believe me they are alive and real.........like it or not. In face each day is a miracle as they grow. Murder is murder and both the killing of the babies and of this man are wrong. Clearly wrong. We are twisted in the way we think about life and it is a sad day when ourselves are more valuable than our unborn children. I fear for future generations......And if there is no religion than I wonder why anything is taboo or morally wrong? To where do you get your values? I guess we just make them up as we go. I mourn for what we have become as a nation.

Randall Terry is the founder of Operation Rescue, an anti-abortion group, spoke at the National Press Club today. According to Mr. Randall, "he left this life, perhaps without proper preparation to face God."

I think this sums up the major problem with the "pro life movement." An usher at a Lutheran church in mid-America was murdered on Sunday during church services. The 'holier than thou" rhetoric is simply disguisting

It is an outrage that this man was murdered! I think this is a condemnation of our legislature that has left the issues of abortion to any doctor that wants to perform an abortion. Our congress should debate these issues and pass laws that both protect women and protect unborn children. Children that can live outside the womb need to be protected. This man has said he didn't abort babies that could survive outside the womb. However, there was strong evidence that this is not the case. This man made 1 million dollars per year aborting babies. There are only 3 doctors that will perform these kinds of abortions. The vast majority of doctors see aborting babies the the third trimester is criminal.
