He doesn't know what he's talking about! Probably works for the SPI, or Coke, Pepsi, Nestle, ... All lying to us. Quit using throwaway plastics, or Nalgene. Algalita Foundation is one of the best resources on this. GLASS is best!

As in PET bottle ... they most certainly do contain estrogen- disruptors that you referred to ... therefore, all single-use plastics are bad news for humans and for the ocean habitat. Check out algalita's research for the past 10 years.

Have a concern that my office coffee water is placed in plastic milk bottles then that water is used to make coffee. Will that water which has set at least over night or longer in those bottles have the chemical bisphenol A which will cause prostate cancer. I am a survivor of this cancer and want to know if I should be worried or stop drinking this coffee.

I’m conducting a short survey to determine what consumers know about biodegradable bottles. It only takes a moment and doesn’t gather personal information.

Many people today are bringing plastic water bottles with them to work. Many of these bottles are re-filled

with their own beverage whether it be water, juice, soda, etc. How is one to know whether these plastic bottles are leeching chemicals into their drinks.

I have many readers at http://fitnessbuilding.com who are into fitnessbuiding and bringing drinks with them.

It is a common question people are asking. Am I drinking chemicals with my water?

Bottom line, plastic is dangerous for us and the environment. In my opinion, and with some of the research I have done, so are some of the metals that we drink out of. While I understand some of the concern with drinking out of glass, namely their fragile nature, I can attest that this should not be as much of a concern as many people think. I ride my bike all over, to the beach, to the store, and beyond and I bring my glass water bottles everywhere and have had no trouble. Furthermore, while we do not sell them yet, you can put these glass bottles in any number of carrying cases. I do not want this to seem like a ploy, but we are proud of our glass bottles, want to help change the world and honestly there is nothing like drinking clean water out of a clear, thick glass bottle. If you like what I say, check them out at www.livinglavidaverde.net. However, whatever you do, stop drinking out of non-reusable plastic bottles. We have several articles, among the thousands of others online, on the risks of plastic to you and the environment.
