We only have a well and our water has very high iron content and God knows what else because I don't have the money to test for every toxic substance/bacteria (coliform test was negative). Our only alternative is bottled water. Sucks.

I recently felt sick, dizzy, light headed, a emptiness in my stomach, after drinking from a bottle that had water and had been sitting in my car for weeks. Is there a possibility of bacteria?

I live in Atlanta and know that my water from the Hooche is not good for me!

I have purchased spring water for years in gallon plastic bottles.

Should I switch to glass?

I believe that all U.S. Participants, should drink out of thermos. They are safe, and there is nothing to worry about. My fellow americans, please, stop drinking out of plastic garbage. Thank you......

He doesn't know what he's talking about! Probably works for the SPI, or Coke, Pepsi, Nestle, ... All lying to us. Quit using throwaway plastics, or Nalgene. Algalita Foundation is one of the best resources on this. GLASS is best!

As in PET bottle ... they most certainly do contain estrogen- disruptors that you referred to ... therefore, all single-use plastics are bad news for humans and for the ocean habitat. Check out algalita's research for the past 10 years.
