If this work for your eyelashes, why can't it do the same for thinning hair on womens' heads? So many of us face thinning hair as we age and it really is an embarassing problem.

I've been using Latisse for almost a year - it works great - sometimes it itches which could be the result of another source ie allergies - only draw back its expensive

I have been using bimatoprost (ingredient in Latisse) for at least 12 years for high eye pressures. One drop in each eye every night. Some people use it for glaucoma. The area around my eyes has darkened so that I look like I'm wearing eye shadow -- only under my eyes as well! For that, I use concealer. Medically, I have to have this product to save my vision. Just as you can't get addicted to morphine if you are in the hospital in great pain because the body has a need for it and once the pain is controlled, the morphine can be dropped -- so my body uses this drug for benefit. I can't imagine long-term use for merely cosmetic purposes, as no one knows what it will do for those who don't need it. Vanity commands a high and sometimes non-reversible cost. Shame on the drug companies for marketing it this way. Botox has paralyzed people; plastic surgery has disfigured and sometimes killed; collagen lips and silicone breast implants have yielded horror stories. That's all I'm saying.

Summer of 2008 I contracted herpes on my cornea in my right eye. With weeks of pain and wearing sunglasses 24/7 inside and out. It also changed my eyesight to worse and now I have chronic dry eye in both , drops twice a day.
