The current economic condition has really taught us a valuable lesson. This situation has really made us to stretch our hands to manage the balance sheets. This is definitely hard. And also a big cause for stress. I watched a report of a mother of 4 children of Illinois in Fox, couple of months ago. She was really in deep trouble, as her company was going out of business in a month or so and she had not found a new job.

Even college students like me also have to keep close eye in my personal budget. This is actually taking some time from my study hours. But it is at least better than being sorry at later times for not doing it before.

So its definitely true that having money is not a problem, not having it is a big problem.

The best antidotes to stress that I have found are laughter and Iyengar yoga, which I have practiced for over 10 years. I believe the great strengths of Iyengar Yoga are that the teachers are very highly trained and tested, and that BKS Iyengar devoted a lot of his time, expertise and genius to developing the therapeutic use of yoga for various physical and mental ailments. I have used Iyengar yoga for stress relief, and also to heal a bad back.

I don't believe having too much money is really as stressful as some claim, but I do believe that for most it is the lack of money that is most stressful.

But either way, you either have it or you don't and stress will not change the circumstance.

The problem with those that do not seem to have enough to spend all they want to spend is what is most stressful to them and when they spend the money they don't have anyway, what follows is stressful for real.

The best way to avoid the most stress is simply to not spend more than you have.

In other words, outgo should not exceed income.

Your balance sheet will be much less stressful.
