How do you know that Sarah Palin didn't use birth control? Even the Pill is not 100% effective when taken perfectly. People need to realize that if a woman is fertile, there's always a possibility for pregnancy when she engages in sex, even when precautions are taken.

Personally, I'd prefer a woman Prez or Vice-Prez AFTER she's already through the emotional craziness of menopause--several years past. A sexist remark? You bet. On purpose. For a reason. Ask anybody who's had a wife or Mom go nuts for a while. You want that finger on your nukes? No sense.

THIS is why most of us question the judgment of Sarah Pslin.

She would have us believe we should all applaud her for deciding to raise a Downs Syndrome child. The truth of the matter is that most of us think she is personally reckless for not using birth control at this age.

She WANTED a baby six or seven years from the last child? While she was trying to be governor of a state? She assessed the risks?

What do you think she wants for YOUR family planning? Duh.
