While making a speech it helps me to have a stress ball in my hand and taking out my anxiety on it. It helps a little, still need to work on it.

i think her speech was brillant, she was not nervous and she have done her best,i actually sat down and watch her speach the other night and it was brillant...

Some people also need to take advantage of vocal coaches to learn to moderate their speech....even out pitch, learn to adjust pitch appropriately, and develop timing.

Clearly, Mrs. Obama has done this, or taken some acting lessons, since the edginess of her previous speeches was dramatically missing and she sounded very saccharin.
