A study reported in the New England Journal of Medicine reported that pancreatic cancer incidence has a strong positive association with coffee consumption. IOW, drinking coffee increases the risk of getting pancreatic cancer, if this study is valid. Compared to cigarette smoking, coffee drinking is worse -- in regards to pancreatic cancer. Compared to cigar or pipe smoking, or drinking alcohol, drinking coffee was far more likely to increase your risk of getting cancer of the pancreas.

Al I know is that I hear the word "antioxidant" and it makes me feel better about the product! Seriously, I love coffee, but I cannot get past the three cup mark without getting heart palpitations which I know can't be a good thing! Moderation, plus the fact that coffee can be expensive, keeps my intake at my limit. www.TheBakersHat.com
