Can Diet Determine a Baby's Sex? Poppycock!

Personally I would take steps to choose baby gender as long as they were done so naturally. And from from I understand, diet plays an important role in terms of the pH level of the woman. It is when people try sperm sorting that I have a bit of a problem because it is so expensive and I am not sure people are not just being taken advantage of.

"I am a physician. When I was in active practice I was making an excellent income.

I never had to worry about the cost of my medications.

Once I retired my income dropped and I also had to buy all of my ever increasing list of medications.

As the cost of medications was a substantial part of my family’s budget, I started searching for Online certified

pharmacies that have lower prices. After investigating numerous pharmacies in the USA, Canada, Mexico and Europe:

Universal Drug Store emerged as the undisputed champion. When I started dealing with UDS I found that ordering

medication was simple and it is easy to get real people to answer your questions and they are knowledgeable and courteous.

The medications I receive from UDS are in exactly the same factory packages as what I used to buy at my local pharmacy."

Thanks for your post on this. I really believe that what a woman eats can help determine the gender. I even asked my obgyn. Me and my husband are thiking of getting a boy diet plan from this internet based company called www.boygirldiet.com Has anybody else heard of this company? Although we really want a boy we will be happy regardless if it's a boy or girl as long as it's healthy

I think your poll is rather simplistic, especially given the text of the article. Would I take SOME steps to influence the sex of my baby, such as having sex on certain days versus others? Yes, because there are no potential affects to the baby's health or to mine, and there is some evidence that it might work. Would I go much further than that? No. So what am I to answer to your poll? It seems that in this (as in other polls on this site) you are asking questions that allow you to paint somewhat "shocking" results, though the truth may be far more nuanced than you allow.

I heard a joke sometime back, saying a researcher conducted a study on cockroach by removing its legs one by one and saying "Stop now" after removing each leg. And concluded that cockroach start to hear after you take out its two legs. The study here reminds me of how people correlate things and just want to publish without ever thinking of any proper and right explanation.

Btw, if someone wants to research another correlation here it is - if you have sex during the winter you most like to have a baby girl. Here are the observations:

1) In countries where there are prolonged winters usually the females are more than males.

2) 9 months + the winter seasons range, you find most of the girls b'day!

3) In reptiles gender is controlled by the temperature (may be somewhere down the evolution tree we are all linked)
