Autism Called Urgent Public Health Concern; 1 in 100 Children Affected

Does anyone recall the past 50 years of escalating NEW diseases, it was diabetese melitus (type two) that lead some fools to say it was hereditery, yes, could be, but, they never had diabetese in africa, don't to this day as fact. Let me clue you in to the first major racial group, workers in our corporate controlled agriculural system, to be induced with a new pandemic. Black Americans where first in what is now a long list of diseases, the people working the agriculutal fields of the south, when the first crop dusters blazed into the sky and let death befall all living broadleaf(2-4-D) and (2-4-5-T) narrow leaf plants with the new miracle Chemicals from DOW. This was the beginning of what will be a terrilble ending, They where the first group, second comes in with the Vietnam war, exsposer is a death sentence for generations to come as DIOXIN is the best of best when it comes to genetic mutations, nothing can match its ability to alter genetic life as we knew it. The blacks case is common sense, hereditary I don't think so. Is now! Its all hereditary now. NONE of These DISEASES existed before DOWS gift to the world. The medical society,pharmasutical companies,goverments, and greed have kept the secrets of DIOXIN from all. And they are the cause of all this new worldly pandemic. Not just people, this affects the Fauna & Flora genetically. (fact- over 60% of the Vietnamese population has Hepitus-C, Dirty needle syndrome or enviromental toxins, guess? Birth defects are rampant, No brain, eyes, legs growing out the back torrso, on and on and on. Yes, I can say for certian what made me sick, seriously sick. It took 43years for me to start this discussion. I shall tell and show, yes show for I have the only photo's of troops being sprayed directly on us with Agentorange. the goverment insists that they never came with in six (6) miles, more like 60 feet, and they still can't find a feasible study gruop after 40 years of looking. I gave it to them in 1995 at the Agent orange conference in D.C. I almost died twice after returning to Montana from unexplainable accidents. I left for Mexico with my 8yearold son,I have RETURNED To finish the most important thing in my life and yours, why is every thing sick and dying? You cannot and should not trust the Goverment, Must not, The Goverment, More closer to the thruth would be Colonel De Hart if the old recall is right. My speech and presents where deleted from the Acdemy Press release, I wasn't there, the Goverment never got there feasible study group. Amazing Stuff. I was working withe Doctor Hang Kong from the Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Science to find and study the men from Ca Lu Vietnam, 500 men came home to wach there children die, Myself included. The study must be DONE!

Early in the diagnosis of autism, 1950's, the concept of "refrigerator mothers" was used to explain why the children were the way they were. 60 years later and there are people who still believe that $@%$@?!! Do you know any parents of children with autism? My guess is that the mothers became that way to cope with the children. . . having an autistic child is isolating and draining. I spent 4 years of my life with less than 5 hours of sleep a day because my son could not sleep. Hold a job?!! Yeah, right. With medication he has gotten better, but is still non-verbal. I have a degree in education, took him to therapy since he was 20 months (he is almost 7), and work with him daily. His iPod Touch with Proloquo2Go has been a Godsend -- we have discovered he is "in there". But we will never have a normal family life. Our son was typical -- I have pictures to prove appropriate play skills and eye contact at age 1 -- and a record of first words too -- and then something happened. All his genetic tests came back normal, aside from a "benign micro-deletion" he inherited from me.

I have a nephew who developed Kawasaki syndrome after Rotatec and a grandmother and her two cousins developed Guillain-Barre after flu shots. I don't know whether a vaccine changed my boy, or some other environmental factor, but something happened as sure as night follows day.

There are many current Autism/Vitamin D deficiency studies reported at the Vitamin D Council website, studies conducted by leading, respected medical researchers -- not frauds. Vit D deficiency is considered a pandemic by the leading researchers and that is why some of them from Boston University Medical Center, Harvard, the University of California medical centers and others started the Grassroots Health website to inform parents and all of us of the dangers of too little Vit D and resulting problems such as very low calcium (since calcium cannot be processed without adequate Vit D.) There is a presentation on YouTube sponsored by Grassroots Health, "Vitamin D and Prevention of Chronic Diseases" presented by Dr. Michael F. Holick (Boston U & multi-winner of the Linus Pauling Research Award). Or simply do a quick search on "Autism and Vitamin D". A free online newsletter is available with summaries of the autism research studies and links to the full studies from Vitamin D Health's website. Wouldn't it be a miracle if Vitamin D holds the answer to this perplexing and heartbreaking condition?

I'm 50 years old and I have Learning disorders, adhd, major depression, anxiety disorder with panic attacks and panic disorder since childhood. I'm also a single moth of two sons with these same disabilities plus my youngest is autistic. my sons are ages 20 and 23 - over the years it's been alot of hard work, but I developed methods that helped by sons to learn at home and at school by blending together: medically the way the brain functions, mental health, creativity and flexibity, while being unconventional. Well my sons cook, do house chorses, use the computer, go to the store grocgory shopping, can wash their own clothes if they need to - my oldest son is a wonderful artist and his drawings and paintings make my mouth drop!! Alittle over a year a-half ago my youngest son/autistic would not join any group soical activity and he is on a doodge ball team at school. Don't let the media scare you into a panic. When my youngest was diagnodised at age 4 1/2 he only spoke 10 words and I can't stop him from take!! Yes - he shows the signs of having autism but it has not stopped him from going forward and I don't stand in his way. He keeps telling me he wants a car with spinner wheels - I just tell him, OK when you pass the reading test, we will talk more about it, but for now you are doing a great job!!

My son reads at the 1st/2nd grade level - but the spinner wheels are his gooals! Focus on the special things about your child and be creativitive and unconventional. Make others focus on the postivity also!!
