Sorry to say, but you have been misinformed. At that age, grandparents are not into "hunting" for anything; per se. They just want to be left alone and want some peace and quiet to enjoy their golden years. Sounds to me this article is suggesting to the "modern" parents to hit the old people for dough to pay for these "fictitious" autism treatments, which are sooo $$$$$. Anything to make a buck, I tell ya.

Checking which parent has used drugs, when and which drugs. Seems that autism rises as drug using parents age. Worth a look. But what parent would blame himself for his child's autism.

Thank you Nancy Shute, I enjoyed learning about the IAN Project, the world's largest registry of twins with autism. Myself, I am high functioning autistic. (not a twin)
