I see so much propaganda on the ill effects of lead, but it doesn't hold up with looking at the evedience of the prograss of mankind, especially in the U.S. A big chunk of the life expectancy increase, the increase in the quality of life, the great accomplishments, all occured under the helm of children who were exposed to lead, with real lead pipes, with lead in gas. The amount of lead one would get from exposure to the solder in pipes is very very small, due to the overcoating of line in most solder joints. You have a better chance of copper poisoning.

Me thinks that someone, or some agency has an ulterior motive in damning lead. Especially when they know how to eliminate it. Quit crying about where it MAY still be a problem, and do something about it. Your job security will find another problem to cry about.
