The detail in the article revolves around the Nintendo Wii - however, the article title is much broader (video workouts), which includes within this group:

Celebrity DVD's

Online Gyms

Granted that some celeb DVD's are poor, the online gyms that I've seen are excellent, and deliver sessions of upto 60 minutes that work you out, just like you'd turned up to the fitness studio in your local gym and done the session there.. The best I've seen is:

www.virtualgym.tv - very good indeed, and makes my life an awful lot easier.

The latest DVD from Nell McAndrew is very good indeed too!

This is a really dumb article I have a Wii Fit Plus, I quit my gym it is much better. You tailor your workout it can be very sweaty as intense as you decide, anyone who has Wii Fit Plus knows this, next time try printing an article with accurate information. There is boxing, step aerobics, cyclcling, to name a few, strength training, Wii Fit Plus is legit, a real workout, get the facts before you print garbage.

Greg hasn't ever played games like Wii Fit or EA Sports Active, and is one of the owners of Holosfitness.com

I have played Wii Fit and EA Sports Active, and you can read my blog as I went through the latter.

Unfortunately, games like the Wii Fit are just that, games. Luckily, there are a wide array of online fitness tools that are actually focused on fitness. The best part is that most of them are free. Holosfitness.com for example is an online fitness tool with hundreds of workouts listed with step-by-step instruction. The site also has demonstration videos of certain exercises and blogs from fitness professionals.
