I'm "for" exploiting the placebo effect anywhere and everwhere we can get it to cure or help people. Phony (placebo) HGH appears to have helped some recreational athletes perform better. Fine, placebos are safe, and real HGH is not.

Did you know that a research study recently appeared in the news where male birds had measureable increases in testosterone just one week after the researchers enhanced their feather colors with a magic marker? Birds!!!!

We're missing something in traditional medicine. It''s the other side of those double-blind studies that should be our focus. How does the placebo effect really work? And how can we harness that power?
