Hello people....WE CAN'T BREATHE ANYMORE! What part of that do they not understand?? These crappy inhalers cause more harm than they do good, but nobody cares! I just used my last ALBUTEROL inhaler a week ago and let me tell ya....I feel like I am dying already! We need to bond together and fight this ridiculous ban on our LIVES! These people are worried about the ozone being depleted....What about human lives being depleted FASTER?!?!!!?

Your physician can can give you samples. I know that pharmaceutical companies provide products free of charge if patients complete certain documentation justifying their needs.

Good luck Diana.

I luckily only have to use my inhaler once in a while, but two days ago I had a severe attack. I went to the doctor to get a breathing treatment and he prescribed a new inhaler. The new ones do not work at all. I keep checking to see if anything is coming out. I have since had to go back to the doctor for more breathing treatments because my new inhaler does not work. To me that's not very cost effective and they even said next time I would have to go to the ER. I don't really care about the environment if my life is in the balance and I'm not going to be around to see it if my inhaler doesn't work. I thought I was going to die this time. That's how serious this is and to think they can play with our lives like that is ridiculous. Why not worry about cars and pollution and forget about our tiny little inhalers that save lives. Is there anything we can do?

Pose a danger to those allergic-they increase broncospasm!!!! I have very adverse affects to the HFA inhalers-convinced by pharmacists and Drs to keep trying them-I ended up have several EKGs, echo, Catscan and creams for rashs, oh and with all that came extreme nausea and the inability to breath!!! File your Medwatch complaints with the FDA, consumer complaints and join us "Save CFC Inhalers"-we need all the voices out there.

I can't believe that the government is getting away with murder - literally. This legislation has not been carefully thought out. I have a history of numerous medical problems for which I am on disability, including asthma and I am a cancer survivor. It's bad enough that my medical insurance (MVP) charges a whopping $30 minimum for one of these new inhalers and up to $50 for the highest priced ones. But what am I supposed to do when I have my next asthma attack?

I can't afford the new inhalers, and given the numerous comments I've read from people who've gotten sick with the new inhalers, I'd be afraid to use them anyway. Why, oh why does the powers-that-be in Washingon insist on doing whatever they can to hurt the poor? I'm on a fixed income and have been on disability for nearly 6 years.

Now I'll never get better. I'm scared that when I have my next asthma attack that I will die because I can't afford a new inhaler. I don't know what to do! I don't know what to do! Is there anyone out there who can help me? Please?????? Please???????

It is outrageous that the CFC inhalers have been taken off the market for "environmental" causes. My granddaughter is dependent on inhalers for her asthma and finds the new ones inadequate to say the least. She has to use twice as much for half the effect all in the name of protecting the environment??!! (Has anyone thought that the containers of the new meds are adding much more to pollution as the old ones did or do the new containers just evaporate into sweet smelling oxygen?) Please help in getting permission for our unfortunate asthmatics to acquire the CFC they need -- It's hard to be unable to breathe -- try it.

"They may taste or feel different, but it should work as well."

They should work as well, but they clearly do not. This is life and death. Something has to be done to allow for CFC inhalers. Not to mention consumers are paying more for a drug that doesn't work.

Don't work well. I know now that asthma death is more probable now than before the ban. My mucous secretions increase with the new delivery system. I have been on several different asthma treatments. To no avail. Now I must get an epi-pen to save my life.

HELLO, I JUST WANT OT SAY I've HAVE CRONIC ASTHMA ALL MY LIFE. wAS BORN WITH IT And PROBABLY will DIE WITH IT, BUT NEEDLESS TO SAY, THIS NEW ASTHMA INHALER HAS MADE A DIFFERENCE IN MY LIFE. a NOT SO GOOD DIFFERENCE. THE MEDICINE IN IT IS NOT AS STRONG. mY doctor had to put me on ADVIAR due to this new med not working as well as the old. ADVAIR alone is $245.00 every two months for me. I do beleive this is about money and politics not the o-zone. FOr cars, exgaust, trash, perfumes, chemicals used on crops does more damage to the ozone then the container of our old inhaler. MY money, and breathing has both been affected by the cost and the affectivness of the inhaler. our politicions are currupted by money and greed. I truely believe this is all about money. NOT the health of the people.
