Thanks, Cita, for your comment. It sounds like you've had an experience very similar to mine -- and I agree, it's no fun having to keep taking the inhaler. But at least we know that if we keep up with the medicine, we're less likely to have problems when and if we do get sick with a cold or something else. I know I learned my lesson.

As an asthma sufferer I can totally relate to the fact that you get tired of taking the crap. I have not had an "episode " in over two year and was put back on meds becsue of a cold that bloomed into a full blown asthma attack. I hat the fact that the "medicine" my albuterol inhaler and the steroid prescribed to me has even made my lungs more sensitive. I am very frustrated having coughing spells that rupture blood vessels and flem the consistency of paper glue. I cannot fathom what this will be like when I get to be 70 or 80.
