I work for a General Contractor in Arkansas. We got a call today (4/23/10) from someone we built for a little over 10 years ago, whose son is a surgeon. We were informed that an Alert had come down and Medicare would no longer pay for knee or hip replacement surgery if you're over 70. We've already started weeding out the old and the frail. Hello Hitler, come on in, have a seat..Can I get you a cup of coffee?...................

Our current president is got to be the most egotistical moron in the annuals of time along with being inconsiderate, self-centered, dictorial, mean-spirited, optically impaired, and wouldn't have sense enough to come in out of a hail storm. He needs to be impeached immediately, if not sooner along with the morons that voted for the Obama's Pet project called "Obama's Folly" (Health Care). Get rid of the fools!

medicare should be available to all people. but according to projections made in 2004, the program will be bankrupted by the year 2019 if no changes are made.

can someone explain wat is this medicare plan for people who lost their job and has no medicare plan ?

i personally think most people dont need medicare plan because doctor is not god.

doctor can not heal people. It is the patient that can heal him/herself.

a person health is nurture by his ways of living, and eating well.

if this plan is taking money out of ordinary people ( people who make less than 70,000), i think this plan is bad for ordinary people.

by reading this article, it seems like it is mainly from government support, but from my family, they said government would take money from people who has some spare money for this medicare plan...

is this mean, we should not have money, instead have a property or wife??

i hope i dont offend you,

thank you,

With what Obama is proposing, what exactly happens to MediCare and Medicaid? Does his plan incorporate those exisiting plans or part of his health reform with new rules?

I read about Obama's propsed cuts to medicare and medicaid and I am wondering what kind of changes can seniors look for as far as individual benefits to those who have pvt. C & D policy's. Will drug coverage be better or worse? How can these cuts help the poor? Our income is $22,600 a year. This is low but not low enough for drug help from Soc. Sec. I am already in the donut hole after the 3rd month this year because my drugs are so expensive. Is there anything positive to look forward to? Thank You Eileen Harlow
