So... In this article, it says a protein shake with juice is good before a workout.

But in Chelsea Bush's other article about what foods NOT to eat before a workout, she says not to drink fruit juices before a workout.

Is there anyone that could clarify this for me..?

This is the second time this has happened to me.. I ate a banana about 20 minutes before my workout. Worked out for an hour and a half, and by the time I got home I experienced SEVERE stomach cramps for HOURS.
