It is known that except oxygen, silicon is the second largest component in the soil, and just as the paper mentioned, silicon can be found in countless food and vegetables and many other things in the world. It may be helpful in protecting osteoporosis, just as the calcium element does. Yet, no data in the report is available to prove the crucial role of silicon in preventing people from ostoeporosis, just a comparison of the amount of silicon contained in 100 commercial beers. Not convincing! More data must be shown to verify the hypothesis
