Barefoot (or Barefoot-Like) Running May Guard Against Injury

I love to run in minimalist shoes. I Just turned fourteen a couple of days ago and i have already fractured my heel from running. Well, running in shoes with a raised heel so that I would strike heel first. I have been running in minimalist shoes since track season. I have been injury free, it is amazing what running "barefoot" did for me. I have improved my mile time by 21 seconds since the beggining of track. I now run a 5:50 mile. All thanks to my transition to barefoot running.

I would definately reccomend running barefoot to anyone who is willing.

I cant wait till it gets warmer so I can run outside again.

My feet are way stronger with using them now.
