Everyone who is exercising a couple of times a week or daily need to understand how important it is to know your body and its limits. I myself have been a firm believer that before exercising you need to stretch and warm up those muscles. When your muscles are cool they are so susceptible to damage, this can be prevented if the right stretches are done and done properly. All it takes is 10 minutes of stretching and getting the blood flowing, people that just jump into an exercise routine without warming up are doing more harm than anything else. Once there is damage the recovery can be lengthy and at times painful, though some injuries especially with pro athletes, happen due to constantly pushing the limits of the body. Great article thanks.
