Great tips!! Working out smart is just as important as working out hard. I've use the P90x home workout routine I got from http://p90-x.com for my daily workout. It keeps me super fit, but they are also smart about diet, stretching, balance, etc. It works out every facet of my body :) Check out http://p90-x.com if you want to check it out. And again, great article

Paragraph 5 states 300 minutes is even better. I have the time & energy. What exercises to you suggest that I add or increase from my current 150+ minutes. I do 25 minutes on treadmill and remainder is abs & strength. Should I just double up on current regimen?

Walk. Walk a lot. Walk some more. I have a family room/kitchen that is large with a tile floor. I have discovered it is an indoor oval walking track. 22' x 8' walking oval. 60' around---88 laps to the mile for 5280'.

I do 90 laps for good measure and call it a mile. I have now done 140 miles so far this way in the last two months. I feel better. I breathe better. I have lost 10 pounds.

Yes, around and around while listening to TV or radio. My wife's caged parrot now thinks I'm crazy. (Wife also wonders.)

So what.

Walk, dammit. Your joints will thank you that was you exercize of choice. Age 57.
