Kashi Go Lean Crunch is delicious. I have been eating it for years. It is great with or without milk, and it also makes a great snack to take to work in a zip lock bag!!! You should try it for sure!!

I lost weight using Quaker Weight Control instant oatmeal. First ingredient is whole grain rolled oats, there are 7 grams of protein, 6 grams of fiber, 1 gram of sugar, low sodium (270 mg-310mg, depends on the flavor) and 3 grams of fat, with only 160 calories per serving. It contains milk and soy, and I make it using water, not milk.

For days when I want cold cereal, I go with Special K Protein Plus. The first 3 ingredients are wheat bran, soy grits and rice. There are 10 grams of protein, 5 grams of fiber, 2 grams of sugar, 110 mg of sodium, 3 grams of fat, with only 140 calories when served with 1/2 a cup of fat-free milk. I like to put some fresh berries or bananas on top.

I've recieved a free sample of Kashi VIVE which includes coupons. I plan on trying this because the taste is great for a high fiber cereal. It also has digestive aids added and other supplements.. Look for it and read the label yourself.

Just wanted to clarify that I didn't apply these criteria to every cereal on the shelves....there are surely others there that fit the bill. I just picked out those three. So if your fave isn't here, it doesn't mean it's not a healthy choice. Use these tips to check it out yourself.
