Have lost 65 lbs on a medical diet with 35 more to go. Bubby has lost 40 with 30 more to go. Gained the 100 lbs over a 19-yr-marriage. We used food as entertainment and let ourselves go. Thankfully, we always demanded our children eat well and exercise so both are slim, healthy and fit (also due to sports participation). Now eating well and exercising at the gym are part of our entertainment and life couldn't be better. Just wish we hadn't waited so long. Old habits are hard to die I suppose.

I see this all the time in my practice. These are great suggestions as well as looking into why you are eating? Digging up the emotional reasons also helps to get right to the core!
