I think it's important with any illness to learn how to become a master at de-stressing! It's already been scientifically proven that stress impedes the immune system and has a wide variety of negative affects on the body--not to mention the mind and emotions.

The emotional stress that comes with a cancer diagnosis is something that few seek treatment for. I believe that treating cancer and the emotional stress that comes with it is the optimal treatment plan.
