Rooting out the cause of Autism is monumental and truth be known, the many changes to our environment leaves many suspects. The development of the human brain must be extremely complex, delicate and vulnerable and yet gets little attention. Studies for some unknown reason have avoided the possibility that the visual nutrician provided by television might short circuit the developing brain. Instant change in brightness, flashing, instant change in distance, and more important and obvious is the rapid change in topics. Much of the nurturing process has changed demanding faster and faster and faster. Technologies used by the media has replaced panning, zooming, and fading for instant change. Many suspect visual short circuiting but have a hard time being heard. The many passionate claims as to cause, may be cofounding the answer.
That complex delicate little organ may be vulnerable to many forms of injury, and no stone should be left unturned in pursuit of the answer

Hello everyone,
Baby health is so important - we all want to avoid chemicals in our food, milk and our household while being pregnant. It is very important. There are alot of chemicals in skincare today, and pregnant women should only use chemical free or Organic face creams.
Your skin is an organ - that you are sharing with your unborn child. Any chemicals applied to your skin will feed the growth of your child. And please do your research on the internet regarding chemicals in skin care products.
My personal recommendation, is the Made from Earth product line. They are at www.madefromearth.com . . .They are completely chemical free and organic, and their products have a shelf life of 6 months, because they are not presevred with chemicals, but they do use quality ingredients. I used their 3 Berry Face Serum while I was pregnant, and its a great face cream I highly recommend.

Dr. Bernadine Healy repeats the obvious: moms are key to the family's health. But everyone knows this already. So, what about dads? What if the media and especially the medical experts turned attention to dads to get them more involved in family health? My wife and I raised our two daughters together in every sense; I spent as much time (if not more) than my wife with them at the doctors' offices. If more dads joined their wives in helping promote family health, wouldn't everyone be better off? And yet I've never read a column by a medical expert suggesting that dads get more involved. I call on Dr. Healy and other media medical experts to strive for more balance in gender when it comes to medical reporting and advising. Right now, and for a long time past, almost everything has been about women's health and aimed at women when it comes to gender-related news reporting in the media.

Education is key to better care of self, and offspring....the nature of Medical education to care for onself is very important toward enlightenment ,prevention and evolution in decreases of medical problems...with out a Medical License a person cannot care for others...only oneself and offspring.

Because there is little to no child care support for families in the U.S., it is tough to expect that praise for a mother's job well done (or even a mediocre job) will help change behaviors. Instead of relying on warm Irish greetings to inform this piece, use evidence from policy research:
1. Sure, children whose parents smoke are far likelier to develop a nicotine addiction. However, the single biggest deterrent to preventing adolescents from starting (and the biggest enticement to quit) is higher tobacco prices, usually imposed through a tobacco tax.
2. Mothers who must hold down two jobs, one to pay the rent and one to pay for the child care, are in no position to model healthy behavior, much less take the time to get their kids in for preventive visits.
3. Personal behavior is molded in the home environment. But when her education and job experience leaves her unemployed, or when she becomes ill, sometimes all Mom can afford is a home environment with cockroach feces (a leading asthma trigger in poor, inner city homes), lead (equally potent in rural or urban areas), or basic neighborhood safety issues.
Structural economic forces, as well as the inherent devaluation in our job market of families' needs and the role of parents, suggest that Dr. Healy's is a nice idea, the reality speaks a different language.
