What does "high cholesterol" mean? Nothing really, because the tests don't measure the various sub-type patterns of LDL.

And there is no evidence that "high cholesterol" puts you at a significant higher risk of heart disease than lower cholesterol. In fact, lowered cholesterol is associated with higher risk of other diseases, such as cancer.

Watch "Food Inc" to see how giant American corporations have tailored the food chain to the fast food restaurant business and in the process have made foods we buy in markets more dangerous for us all. Is it any wonder why akamai people are choosing free range chickens, organic eggs and free range beef and foods without high glucose corn sweetener in them? Is it any wonder why families with limited income cannot afford healthy foods including vegetable and fruits but can afford fast food fare like hamburgers and pizza which is loaded with excess fat and empty calories?

Please take me back to the 50's over what we have today in our markets.
