Is Yoga Good for Everyone as a Stress Reliever?

Absolutely! Stress can cause a myriad of problems ... starting with high blood pressure, anxiety, etc.! I have no doubt that I've been on blood pressure medicine for 25 years because of my extremely high stress job! my doctor told me to look for another job, but, back then, that was easier said than done.

I completely agree on the views mentioned. I have tried yoga and gained effective results from it in the sense of anxiety and stress.

But i personally feel that one needs to take a break from the usual fitness regime and try out other activities as well. And one of them i found extremely relaxing was dance. But dance when performed in a professional way can go a long way in giving you a relaxed mind and a toned body. At the moment Iam on this fitness regime and I learnt this art of aerobics in dance form which is easy and stress free to perform.

I watch this DVD called Bollyrobics and perform accordingly and the results I can feel for myself besides giving me a break from my usual fitness regime.

Yoga is great! It is pretty much great for everybody. The key is to find the type of class and yoga instructor who is right for your mood and personality. Try out lots of yoga classes and teachers. You will find your spot. Yoga is a journey.
