the best website I have found that lists a huge number of medications and their side effects is www.rxlist.com you read the name of your medication of your prescription bottle and type it into the search bar.

I do not believe that this website offers a way to track your meds and supplements.

I use Microsoft office excel, and I list each medicine i take, then i go to rxlist, and get all the side effect information, and the information on the drug or supplements that it should not be taken with. I keep this information in a file on my desk top, and i make sure that when i get prescribed a new medication or want to take a new vitamin etc. i check my file.

I was wondering if there is a program or web site where you can enter all your prescriptions and supplements, and have potential warnings appear. Sometimes it is hard to read all the information listed for each drug or supplement you are taking. And if your doctor misses it, it would be a way for people to track their own possible medical problems.

Comarow On Quality

U.S. News's Avery Comarow has been editor of the America's Best Hospitals annual rankings since they first appeared in 1990. His reporting on clinical medicine, from the latest cholesterol guidelines to robotic surgery, has been driven by the question: What does this mean to patients? And that is the perspective he brings to his observations and commentaries on the increasing number of programs by hospitals and other healthcare providers to improve care and patient safety.
