We were selected as one of the best nursing homes in the country for 2008. no idea about 2009 yet.
Acadia St Landry Guest Home is locally owned & operated and the administrator cares about the residents whom he knows by name.
CNAs usually treat residents with respect and have patience with the senile/Alzheimer's patients.

I had the pleasure of staying with my brother at Ringold Nursing Home, in Ringold, La. I must say I have never experience such a warm and caring group of people. The N/A, Nurses, and Adminstration was so nice. The facilty was so clean and never smell like your typical nursing home when you enter the doors. That says a lot about the Housekeeping Department. I will gladly recommend this facility to any one.
