% of Patients Whose Nurses Were "Always" Polite and Communicative" is a measure of great nursing care? How about delivered my food and drink hot? I am not downplaying polite and communicative but what about attentive, able to think critically, recognized early sign of problems, were vigilant in harm and error prevention? These are the things the patients never see. I can be very polite as my patient goes into respiratory failure.
