Been in the medical field 42 years - this was the worst example of medical care from the CNA's up to the DR.'s - 1 hour waits standard on call button - 3 major complaints with directors - response - Well we know we have a problem! Patient care virtually non existent- 21 days of pure hell - thanks to a friend who stayed 24/7 lucky to leave their alive - advice - go to St. Beradine's in San Bernadino

This is the worst hospital I have ever had to go to and would like people to know this!!! I filled out a survey but it didn't change this site any. I wonder how anyone can find out how bad this hospital is if they can't get it off the internet or hear it by someone who has been there. I was there to have a baby which should have been a wonderful thing but was horrible!!!!

On Nov.30,2011 received the worst care at Dukes. Also an IV infection. Would never recommend this hospital. Presently switching doctors to avoid ir.

My stay at University hospital of bedford was awful. The nurses didn't follow through with explanations. Doctors would come in rooms for just a very few minutes and leave. Communications on health issues with family members was absolutely the worst I have ever encountered. I depend on my husband a lot to share in my health care. He should have been kept up to date. This didn't happen and I am very disappointed in this. I was not told a thing about some tests that were run. This is bad also. So you can very well see why I am digusted.

Ratings and Best Hospital is just a number. Be your own advocate! If not, maybe you will die of a bacterial infection or worse! There is no truth in numbers unless it's in your bank account.

The comments from nurses speaking about how much they're paid, don't know how to spell and swear just goes to show you the mentality the worst of the worst are. The rest are just as negative. Find another profession and stop your hateful attitude and treating patients who need care like they're a pain in the 'ass.' You have an attitude problem before during and after you walk in the door. As healers, more important than even doctors who have patients admitted would heal better if you weren't so antagonistic toward people who are helpless in their time of need to heal and be in comfort. You are one too many and head nurse charge nurse administrator patient relations don't do a damn thing to make things right or better because they're afraid to lock horns and may lose their paycheck. So we are at your mercy and to all the nurses who think you are just a few, I hope you pay your dues when someday you have to be admitted. Karma to all of you!

The worst nursing care I have ever experienced in my life! My sister was also a patient and it was just as heartless. Tried to speak to the administrator of the hospital but no can do I was told. The emergency room is a joke!! Most people who live in the area or close by go there because their doctor may only belong there. The have no choice or are fearful to speak! I spoke and it fell on deaf ears and went no further as patient relations are useless as the nurses or anyone else on the staff! Other hospitals and further but in an emergency such as my sis and I needed can only take to the nearest hospital. It was shamefull the way we were treated at different and trying times in our life!
