Easy cases guarantee good outcomes and helps attain higher rankings. Example: Boston Children's Hospital will NOT accept cancer patients for liver transplant unless the child meets a strict criteria that ensures a cure after successful transplant. They's rather chase the statistics than try to cure children. This is shamelessly gaming the system.
