I am a sixty one year old, morbidly obese man, 5' 10 1/2", weighing currently 363 lbs. I have always, from childhood been obese. I do not eat excessively, but I do eat all the wrong things, not just because I like them but because I am economically challenged (poor). A few months, I really tried to eat healthy. I had to use my car issurance money that I had set aside in monthly installments. I need my health more than I need a car. I, however, without the use of mt car was unable to make my doctor's appointments. I live in an area where public transportation is virtually nonexistent. So, in conclusion, I deduce that if poor people were given financial help with acquiring professional dietary counseling, there would less expenditure on treatment of diseases related primarily to morbid obesity.
