Well pretty much as I thought Alabama made the top 10 on this one. Such a pity my home state has turned into such an anti/mis information state when it comes to birth control and sex education.

Birth rate is interesting but how about providing pregnancy and abortion rates? I recall seeing numbers about five years ago that made teen pregnancy more of a national problem than a Southern problem as your numbers suggest.

Funny that Mississippi has the highest teen pregnancy and it is also the most religious of all states. Makes sense, god is make believe and belief in him does not make for a better person. Facts are facts.
