Well pretty much as I thought Alabama made the top 10 on this one. Such a pity my home state has turned into such an anti/mis information state when it comes to birth control and sex education.

The United States are the same as Mississippi.

The lowest, as far as I can figure out are the Netherlands - which is 4 per 1000.

can you say "red state"

Birth rate is interesting but how about providing pregnancy and abortion rates? I recall seeing numbers about five years ago that made teen pregnancy more of a national problem than a Southern problem as your numbers suggest.

TO KMADD of Or; Not only do "...These states have got an aweful lot to learn..." but you do to. How AWFUL you RATE.

Those minority teens in Bible Belt states sure don't vote Republican. They're your retards Libs. You made them. Now eat your crow.

Funny that Mississippi has the highest teen pregnancy and it is also the most religious of all states. Makes sense, god is make believe and belief in him does not make for a better person. Facts are facts.

Interesting that most are Bible Belt states that preach "Family values"!
