Well at least this answers my question, which was, "What will the government tax when enough people quit smoking because of the high tax on cigarettes that the revenue from the high tax starts going way down." I should have known that they would start taxing another high use, high profit item.
Why don't they put a 90% tax on politicians salaries. Then maybe some of them would quit and get real jobs, and it wouldn't cost so much to support their lazy butts!

These taxes are unjust. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean I should have to pay more for it. Either tax everything, or tax nothing. All your 'sin' taxes are abusive strong arming of your own perceived 'correct' way to live. How about we let adults make up their own minds? If they choose to not drink soda or smoke, great. Otherwise, leave them alone. Stop shoving your ideals onto everyone else.

Lets tax another freedom and say it is to help us from hurting ourselves. It really worked with cigaretts..or did it?
These people are insane. They believe (and they think they are the only people who do) they have the answers to all of our problems, and guess what..it is always Tax!
But they always wind up spending more so they negate the tax and find another thing to tax.
Lets get these idiots out and regain our freedom!

While we're at it, let's have a fast food tax also. We're taxing cigarettes because they're bad for us, so why not tax fast food and soda?
